FRISCO, Texas, October 12, 2026 – American Health Staffing Group (AHSG), a leading healthcare workforce solutions organization, today announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously appointed David Durbin as Chief Executive Officer, effective today, October 12. Durbin currently serves as President of Trio Workforce Solutions and will continue in that role while leading AHSG.
Durbin succeeds Kelly Rakowski, who is departing to pursue a new opportunity. Rakowski will remain with AHSG through October 16 to support the transition.
Durbin joined AHSG in 2025 as President of Trio, where he leads growth strategy, solution development, client services, and operations. He brings more than 20 years of healthcare workforce experience, including roles as Chief Strategy Officer at Prolink and Senior Vice President of Program Management at Cross Country Healthcare, along with leadership roles at AMN Healthcare and Cielo. Earlier in his career, he spent 18 years at Iron Mountain in operational and strategic leadership roles focused on healthcare and government.
