Job Description

The Director of Interim Leadership is a highly visible leader actively engaged in the daily management and coaching of the recruiters, account managers, operations, and accounting to drive candidate submissions, bookings, leaders on assignment count, and leader retention while maintaining profitable margins and delivering an exceptional client and candidate experience. As a respected role model with solid business acumen, the Director of Interim Leadership elevates the team's overall professionalism, productivity, confidence, and engagement. As this is a multi-faceted role, we are seeking a highly versatile and well-rounded leader who can create and drive strategy as well as roll up their sleeves to clear obstacles and build pieces of the business themselves.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with the business leaders and team to influence strategy through data.
  • Drive decisions with Leadership on complex demand and fulfillment challenges at a rapidly increasing scale.
  • Own communication to C-level executives internally and externally on interim leadership trends and progress to hiring goals.
  • Achieves or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue, volume, and margin targets for the division.
  • Actively manages team performance and client and candidate pipeline using key call, new orders, file submission, conversion, booking, leadership count,     cancellation, and retention metrics. Conducts one-on-one meetings to actively coach team.
  • Create and inspect the yearly goals and KPIs for the team and ensure those align with overall business priorities.
  • Develops and deploys a consistent hiring, on-boarding, and training program for new hires, experienced and tenured professionals, resulting in rapid ramp-up,     productivity growth, and confidence in negotiating with and closing candidates and client opportunities.
  • Conducts weekly team stand-up meetings to communicate company and client news proactively. Maintains an inclusive culture by ensuring that remote team     members from all departments are included and recognized for good performance.
  • Actively collaborates with the Account Management and Credentialing team to drive bookings and reduce delayed starts and cancellations. 
  • Continually expands knowledge of healthcare staffing and managed services market trends, industry analyst updates, and competitive data by reviewing     internal and external sources.
  • Out-of-town travel – approximately 25-50%.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of healthcare staffing and recruitment experience is a must. 
  • Experienced in building, leading, and developing high-performance results-driven sales teams and organizations. 
  • Excellent interpersonal communications and coaching skills. Exudes leadership presence and fosters a culture of trust, respect, and professionalism across the team.
  • Knowledge of the drivers of the healthcare industry and/or staffing industry and familiarity with Managed Services Programs and Vendor Management     Solutions. 
  • Ability to build credibility at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to design and communicate clear processes, and a detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving.
